Welcome to note. bistro & wine bar, located in the heart of midtown Harrisburg, at the corner of Harris and 2nd Streets, note bistro is set inside a 1910 Victorian home that has been repurposed into a warm and inviting establishment.
We here all strive to make note a comfortable “neighborhood” gathering place for local residents, as well as a destination for the neighboring West Shore, York, Hershey, and Carlisle communities. Note features a menu that pairs European inspired cuisine with a modern flair with an interesting and eclectic wine list.
Owner Ruth and her team oversee a seasonally (and sometimes daily) changing menu that spotlights fresh ingredients prepared from scratch as well as inspired and creative daily specials. We offer a full bar selection, with fine beers and craft cocktails to enjoy!
note.’s friendly and knowledgeable staff will make sure that your dining experience is one you’ll want to repeat.
We still encourage you to make reservations early for your dates, your double dates and little celebrations and we will do our best to accommodate!! We do always try to some leave room for our last minute diners and local neighbors who want to pop in last minute. Our bar is full service and first come first serve, but depending on what we have on for reservations, sometimes we can reserve the bar, sometimes we cannot! For larger gatherings (6-9 ppl) we are only able to accommodate at 5-5:30 pm, based on the size of our kitchen we find it difficult to host larger parties in the midst of service. For parties 10 and up, we will have to make special arrangements as we find our intimate dining room is not suited for these sorts of gatherings, so we appreciate your understanding!
Reservations are made solely through email (Ruth@notewinebar.com) but walk-ins are welcome and we usually can seat a party of fewer than 4 without a wait, however 4 or more will likely require a reservation. I check into email quite frequently during the day and do my best to respond in a timely manner, if you do NOT receive a reply with a confirmation please follow up, occasionally one will slip past me! If you are looking for same day, and it's getting late in the day we recommend you call into the restaurant for direction, as I may no longer be checking my email. Please do not leave voicemail as those do not get checked frequently, thank you!!
